Billing FAQ

Questions about plans.

What exactly is a credit?

One credit is roughly one minute of source video processed. A 60-minute podcast costs about 60 credits, however many clips it produces. You pay for what you feed in, not what comes out.

Do yearly plans get credits upfront?

Yes. Yearly subscribers receive their full 12 months of credits on day one, so you can batch-process a whole quarter of content in a single sitting.

Do credits expire or roll over?

Monthly subscription credits expire at the end of the billing cycle. You can upgrade or downgrade your tier anytime to match your needs.

What happens when I run out of storage?

Storage holds your source uploads and rendered clips for the retention window on your plan (7, 30 or 90 days). Download what you want to keep. Expired files are removed automatically, and your clips are always yours.

What's the difference between standard, advanced and priority processing?

Queue position and concurrency. Standard processes one job at a time in the shared queue; advanced runs more in parallel; priority jumps the queue, which matters when you're rendering a backlog before a posting window.

What about refunds?

ClipCut is trusted by over 39,000 creators and studios. Paid plans are final and non-refundable, but if you hit a genuine billing error or the product fails as described, email support@clipcut.pro and we'll make it right.

How do I cancel?

Cancel anytime under "Manage my subscription" in your account settings. No hoops, no hassle.
